Born in Moldavia, Diana Axentii, soprano, won several prices including the Montserrat Caballé and Queen Elizabeth competitions.
After a carrier as a mezzo-soprano, she now sings as a lyrico-dramatic soprano.

As a mezzo-soprano, she sang in opera houses in France, Brussels and at the Deutsche Oper of Berlin. She sang Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart, Martha in Frühlings Erwachen by Benoît Mernier, Albina in La Donna del Lago by G. Rossini, Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos by R. Strauss or Fenena in Nabucco by G. Verdi. In concerts, she sang Mozart's Requiem at Antibes et Chartres, the mass in D by Dvořák in Marseille, the Trois Poèmes de Mallarmé by Ravel at the Cité de la Musique of Paris.


Now soprano, she makes her debut in the role of the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro in France, Switzerland and Bulgaria and sang in Munich and Versaille the role of the Ecolier in Dante et Béatrice by B. Godard.

During the 2016-2017 season, she sings Dorotea in Stiffelio by G. Verdi in Bilbao, and sing in Phèdre by J.B Lemoyne at the theater of Caen, and at the Bouffes du Nord in Paris. During th 2017-2018 season, she will make her debuts as Norma by V. Bellini and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus by J.Strauss
